Do it & be blessed

James 1:25:

“But one who looks intently at the perfect law, the law of liberty, and abides by it, not having become a forgetful hearer but an effectual doer, this man will be blessed in what he does.”

Interpretation/application based on the original Greek words, looked up online:

“But if I look humbly at Christ’s teachings (which are perfect, complete, & not lacking anything), the teachings that give freedom to do what I should, not what I want, and remain alive by those teachings only, not forgetting what I’ve heard, but having accomplished something to prove that I’ve been doing the work, then I will be blessed – truly happy – in anything I do.”

Looking up the original language makes verses come alive even more. I love God’s Word!
